My niece, Eliza Eichelberger, flew out with here mom . Then she stayed while her mom went to visit another sister this weekend. She was a delight. It was fun to have a toddler around for the weekend. She would just bustle around and find lots of things to entertain herself. It is so easy to forget how easily entertained children are when everything in this world is new and exciting.
We took her on a family activity. We went to the Santa Susana Train Depot. Despite the fact that it is 5 minutes away from my house and I drive by it once a week, I have never been there. It was a fascinating little museum showcasing the importance of the railroad lines during the past 100 years. After that, we had a really great time playing volleyball together at the park.
