This weekend we had my 2 nephews and niece join us. Their oldest is 5 years old, so we had quite a house full. At one point, Maddie was holding the 2 year old, trying to get her to eat, I was trying to cut up chicken while catching the 4 year old who kept saying "Up" then jumping from the stool into my arms, and Jeff was being chased by the Allie, Gabe and the 5 year old. He was a little frustrated because he didn't want to be chased, he was trying to get the remote to the TV to work. Then the 4 year old found some markers and completely colored his and his little sisters arms and legs before I discovered it. It was a little crazy!

But then there were the times when the 2 year old would push everyone over and they would all laugh hysterically like this was the funniest thing in the world. Laughter is contagious and soon we were all laughing. There were times when the 4 year old would come and snuggle in my lap. I loved watching the pure joy and enthusiasm they had over the simple pleasure of playing in the bathtub. It was a little crazy, but well worth it. We are glad they came to stay with us and would welcome them back anytime.
