Beach House

As part of our annual summer activities, we spent a week down at the beach house this summer.  We had a great time.  We played a family game of Risk.  The parents were killed off fairly quickly, then the kids were left to duke it out for the world.  We did a mystery puzzle.  It was extra challenging because we didn't have a picture to reference.  We still managed to finish it and enjoyed searching the picture for the clues.  We headed down to the beach where the kids buried themselves in using the sand and the waves.  They went on the boogie boards and played beach volleyball.  We built sand castles.  Our good friends, the Buscos, joined us and we swam in the bay and took out the kayaks for some adventures.  We had a ping pong tournament, watched movies and played card games.  We had a great time doing whatever struck us at the time and just relaxing.  We even just sat on the beach one evening and ate ice cream for dinner!  We are so grateful that our aunt is so willing to share her house with us.  We love to go every year, and celebrate old traditions while making new ones!
